Avoid overflying the airfields Herrenteich (EDEH) and Hockenheim (EDFX) below 1500 ft AGL.
Be aware of parachute jumping operations at Herrenteich (EDEH) (NOTAM).
Do not overfly the refinery located east and southeast of the airfield.
Tall trees are located south of the airfield.
Simultaneous take-offs and landings on the grass and asphalt runways are not permitted.
When a glider winch is in operation (yellow warning light), no powered aircraft take-offs or landings are allowed.
Towing flights from the asphalt runway are only permitted with prior authorization and only in runway direction 16.
The grass runway may only be used with prior approval (gliders and motor gliders). Powered flights are allowed only when no winches are laid out on the grass runway.
Landing of towing aircraft with an attached tow rope is prohibited.
Noise Abatement
The noise protection regulations from the operating rules apply.
Avoid overflying the Speyer Cathedral, the city area, and the swimming pool (north of the threshold of runway 16).
Avoid overflying the towns of Rheinhausen, Oberhausen-Rheinhausen, Altlußheim, and Neulußheim.
Enter the traffic pattern avoiding populated areas as much as possible.
Parking & Access
Three parking areas are available: main apron, roundabout or apron 5, and grass parking area.
Access to the airfield is possible via the turnstile in the northwest (between hangars 1 and 2) or through the airfield terminal.
The access leads directly to the respective parking area.
