We will be closed for regular flight operations on the following days:
PPR requests may be submitted by 17:00 UTC on the day prior to the requested movement via e-mail to ops@edry.aero.
We wish everyone a Merry Christmas, pleasant holidays and a successful start into the New Year.
Thank you for your cooperation and continued trust throughout the past year.
We will be available again as usual from 02 January 2026.
Since Friday, 19 December 2025, Speyer Airfield (EDRY) is accessible via IFR arrival procedures.
A cancellation of IFR is no longer required. Instead, GPS-based RNP approaches are available for both runway directions.
For IFR arrivals, the EUROCONTROL Route Availability Document (RAD) specifies that RINEX shall be used as the final waypoint in the flight plan for arrivals into EDRY, even though this requirement is not apparent from the published procedure design.
To ensure successful flight plan acceptance, please file RINEX as the last compulsory waypoint in the ROUTE field when submitting an IFR flight plan to EDRY.
For departures, IFR departures from EDRY are currently not available.
The EUROCONTROL system may still erroneously accept IFR flight plans without an initial VFR segment,
which is not in accordance with the published procedures.
To avoid rejection by the responsible ACC and the need to re-file your flight plan, please file only VFR or Z flight plans for departures from EDRY.
